The esteemed Joe Dunleavy, a legend in the Architectural sales industry for more than 40 years, could see the future. Well, the future of one small part of his world (and ours). His vision of the future touched the lives of every man, woman and child, to the extent of how we all access buildings that we encounter each and every day.
Mr. Dunleavy understood how challenging our society could be in so many different ways. He chose to focus on the area of universal accessibility (far ahead of the phrase “Universal Design”) that limited access to buildings, washrooms etc for people of all ages and physical abilities. His pursuit to assist society led him to Europe, where accessibility had become universal many decades prior, and to start importing products conducive to the methods of design and construction of North America.
The Lisa lavatory, was the first product imported into North America by Dunleavy Cordun. Unique in its design, this product is still the number one seller we offer. Adding to this award winning sink, we now offer more than 1,000 accessible products for every situation.
